THERE IS AN UPDATE TO THE SPELLING BEE SCHEDULE!!
In order to ensure that the families & loved ones of our 12 Spelling Bee Finalists are able to watch their speller, we are moving the After School Spelling Bee Finals!
Instead of holding the Evening Bee on Friday the 5th, we will be announcing the 12 finalists that day & holding the After School Bee on Thursday, April 11th at 5:30pm (as there is no school on Friday, April 12th).
Everything else will remain the same:
- Teachers will be doing individual class Bees this week, choosing a 1st and 2nd place winner.
- This Friday (April 5th), each grade will have a Spell-Off, leaving a 1st and 2nd place winner from each grade.
- Those 12 students (2 from each grade) will compete at 5:30pm on Thursday, April 11th for the title of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place School Spellers!
Admission is free; the PTO will have concessions available for purchase.
A Spelling Bee list for every grade has been sent home with the students to study.
